Tuesday night is Mussels Night. From 6pm we serve a portion of mussels cooked with cider, garlic, shallots, cream & leeks accompanied by a 125cl glass of house wine.
Mussels £8.50 per portion including wine or cider.
Bowl of chips or baguette or green salad £1.10
Thursday’s Steak Night - Châteaubriand (head of fillet) for two
All served with chips, salad & peppercorn sauce.
Our beef is matured for a minimum of 21 days the breed is Herefordshire steers from Grange Farm in Hurst.
Join us every Friday from 12 noon for 6 Colchester oysters and a glass of Gallimard Champagne for £10.50.
The Sunday roasts are fast becoming infamous throughout the village. Whole roast chicken with stuffing and bread sauce served on a board for 2 to share.
