Renowned for home cooked locally sourced produce, including Hampshire Hog sausage rings, and Whole ribs of beef from Grange Farm in Hurst.
The wine list is seasonally adjusted and includes a comprehensive selection served by the glass. There is a selection of four Real Ales, leading premium lager, and a delicious local cider.
Each week, regular culinary events include:
Mussels Tuesday - (a bowl of mussels and a glass of house wine for £8.50)
Steak Thursday - (including Cote de Boeuf and Chateaubriand to share)
Fizz Friday - (6 oysters and a glass of champagne for £10.50)
Sunday Roast - (a choice of four meats and a full menu)
Other regular events include tutored wine tastings, Carnivores club dinners and live music nights. For many years, The Phoenix has been synonymous with car clubs. It is the home of The Vintage Sports Car Club, who enjoy meeting regulary.
